About Tainwala

Founded in 1985, Tainwala Chemicals & Plastics Ltd entered the Indian market by manufacturing household utility items including mosquito repellants and wet wipes. Their products were launched across the globe under foreign technical collaboration with world-class pioneers like Storalene AB (Sweden) and Sumitomo Corporation (Japan).

In 1990, Tainwala diversified into plastic sheet extrusion and joined hands with Cincinnati Milacron (Austria) for manufacturing PVC sheets. Three years later, expanding the plastic sheet extrusion business, Tainwala collaborated with Amut Spa (Italy). Tainwala Personal Care Products Ltd, a new subsidiary was formed in 1994, focusing on purely consumer products.

Today, Tainwala’s primary focus is plastic sheet and profile extrusion. They supply luggage to global leaders in the industry like Samsonite, American Tourister and Tommy Hilfiger. They also provide coolers to Indian Oil Corporation, Bharat Petroleum and Symphony. The plastic sheets manufactured by Tainwala are widely used by the Government of India for their water cleaning projects.
